At Marcus Aurelio Jiu Jitsu Academy we teach a martial art combat sport and self defense system that focuses on grappling and especially ground fighting. Our Jiu Jitsu program promotes the concept that a smaller weaker person can successfully defend against a bigger stronger assailant by using leverage and proper technique taking the fight to the ground – most notably by applying joint-locks and chokeholds to defeat your opponent. We offer three levels of Brazilian Jiu Jitsu training to ensure that our students get the attention and instruction they need to continue to grow and improve.
